The GC of Microsoft and the GC of Google were recently interviewed at the Association of Corporate Counsel annual meeting earlier this week in Arizona. While presented to an audience of lawyers, the discussion was a very interesting take on the future of technology, information security and privacy. You can see a video replay on the ACC website here: http://www.acc.com/education/tuesday-lunch.cfm.
One of the main takeaways from the discussion is that how companies create, store, share and protect information is evolving and companies need to be prepared for these changes. The legal and regulatory issues can be very complex and individuals and businesses need to have the resources in place to understand their potential impact.
The discussion lasts almost 50 minutes but is very interesting and worth watching. read more
